When the Comanche County Courthouse called us to offer them a proposal to strip and wax their floors, we moved into action and secured a long-term client in the process.

- Remove (strip) all layers of accumulated floor finish. The coved edges presented a special challenge.

A-1 Janitorial services brought our many years of floor maintenance experience to bear on this massive undertaking. Over the course of several weeks we painstakingly removed the old finish and restored the luster of these beautiful terrazzo floors of by-gone days.
- Evaluate the floor construction material (VCT, Concrete, Terrazzo, Ceramic, Linoleum, Rubber, Wood)
- Strip the previous finish (Usually wax is no longer used, having been replaced by acrylic finishes.)
- Design a maintenance schedule that factors in periodic, high-speed buffing or burnishing services.
- Evaluate proper interim maintenance such as, less labor-intensive srubbing vs. stripping and re-coat.
